I am socially oriented problem solver with a passion for bringing the richness of cultural organizations and online resources into the lives of New York City’s diverse residents. My research background is in the digital media learning experiences of youth and young adults in informal educational environments, and in the ways online platforms shape educational decision-making, mediate learning, and produce or preclude senses of belonging and inclusion. I am also a seasoned educator with expertise in teacher education, curriculum design, K12 learning, online privacy concerns, and instructional and organizational coaching.
